Racecourse Road Festival

It all started with this flyer on a bitterly cold Saturday afternoon ... so decided to take a look

The queue to get in was HUGE so decided on a Hosakowa "Shabu Shabu" steamboat to warm up.

I couldn't resist some uni (sea urchin) in season at the moment and delicious!

When we finally got through the queue there was a street parade on

Did I mention that it was freezing?  We opted for the warmest option we could find (http://www.lebonchoixbakery.com.au/)

and could not resist a German Sausage at the Hut ...

Afterwards I unpacked my new wig and gown stand.  It was quite an operation!

I'm not sure if Kismet is too keen on the new addition to the household.

It's made a perfect stand ...

Have a fabulous week

How time flies

My last blog posting was in April ... I can not believe it!!!   Time flies!!!

So much, yet so little, has happened.

Despite being still banned from shopping I've made some very necessary trips to Harolds who now have a website

I purchased this beautiful faux fox rug for my bed ... a necessary purchase for winter ...!

The new stock is divine ... here's a sample.  You'll see my favourite black and white theme is ever present and the curious taxidermy and skeletons remain

Aaron is still on hand for help with tricky decisions ...

I've got my eye on the new skunk ... I wonder what the cats would think?

The cats are on vacation in Toowoomba.  Cinnamon was last spotted in the garage playing with Bling

and Kismet's keeping warm

I had the please of seeing Wolverine last night - it was great and Hugh Jackman was not bad on the eyes either - a must see!!  Make sure you wait until after the credits.

The movie is set in Asia and the leading ladies are gorgeous

for those interested here's what a real wolverine looks like ... this is a baby "kit".

The adults do not look so cute and fluffy  ...

The Dendy Portside for movies is fantastic.  You can sit by the river while the sun goes down

and then see a movie.

Afterwards, next door is Gianni's Italian.  I love the wine glass chandelier

Wine comes in carafes!

The food is fabulous ...here's my favourite order 1 x Gianni Favourite Pizza - tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto and reggiano (half cheese no cheese), rocket,

Hand cut chips with aioli

Calamari Fritti with aioli

Needless to say I was back at the gym this morning after that meal AND seeing this in the paper this week ... here's KYLIE in Spain this week at 45!!!  No bad - love the D & G "togs" or "swimmers" whichever state you are from:)

Hope you have a great week.
