Happy New Year!!

I can't believe its nearly the end of February.  It's been an eventful year.  It started with the Mariah Carey Concert.  I wore my new LV handbag from Santa!

We had awesome accommodation at the Gold Coast ... here is the last sunset of 2012 taken from the balcony

We celebrated Lily's 2nd Birthday - I wore Wheels and Dollbaby to this divine Tiffany themed party.

Did you get a chance to see the giant Duck when it was in Brisbane.  I saw it recently at Darling Harbour!

The cats aren't home yet.  They have been taking a relaxing break up in the mountains and meeting lots of new friends....

Mum's horse has befriended a cat in the stable.  I wonder what Kismet and Bling would think of a pony?

I hope you had a great Valentines Day!

I brought these red velvet cupcakes home from the Family Court.  One of the talented associates stayed up all night baking over 400 for the Red Cross - they were absolutely delicious!!!

I tried my hand at baking this month thanks to my Thermomix - here's my first ever vanilla sponge with brandy cream icing!

Since the rain the flowers have been beautiful in our garden and were all out for Valentines Day!

My New Years Resolution is NO spending ... I've been pretty good.  The only "necessary" purchase were these long awaited Isabel Marant Sneakers I've been lusting after ever since that Beyonce video!

Just because I'm not spending hasn't stopped me looking ... I love this dress at Joy Hysteric.

and I have my eye on this mouse.  It's a pink replica of my car - so cute!

What do you think of this pink hair ... you could wear it at the Barbie Cafe

it opened in Taiwan this month!

On a more masculine note!!  The car racing was off to a flying start this year with the Bathurst 12hr last weekend. The Erebus SLS Mercedes won ...

My favourite Ferrari race team was there from Singapore - the dragon art on this car is awesome...

The armed forces sponsored this camo coloured lambo driven by John Bowe

Did you know that Erebus is now racing in the V8's this year.  Although I am not a Mercedes Fan this team is amazing.  The owner is the first female to own a racing team - I hope they smash Holden and Ford

Oh BTW did you know that there is  a new art gallery in George St?  It's just opened and its a MUST visit!  I went to the opening ...

 here's a few pics...

Hasn't it been hot this year ... I finally got some ceiling fans installed.  What a difference they make!

I'm off to pick up the girls from Toowoomba ... more posts later in the week
