Fat Noodle and other favourite new restaurant finds

For those who have not had the pleasure, make sure you try Fat Noodle at the Treasury Casino (http://www.treasurybrisbane.com.au/Dining/Pages/Fat-Noodle-.aspx)
Its Luke Nguyen's new venture and is superb and the fit out is superb!

There are so many fabulous dishes!

Here's some of my recent orders.  This is the sashimi salmon with mandarin dressing

A fellow fat noodle lover loves the sav blanc.  Aren't those bows divine?

This is the salt and pepper tofu

Here's another one of my favourite noodle lovers - LOVE the henna!

She had the pho - the signature dish - a vietnamese beef soup with lemongrass

My orders are typically the duck soup (I LOVE!)

Or the wonton soup

Others have had the pork belly that looks so nice!

Tea is steaming hot and complimentary and comes in these beautiful cast iron pots

Duck rolls

 Seafood Mee Goreng

We had the pleasure of eating at the Royal Pines Tepanyaki a few weeks ago and it was fabulous

... here's how the chef left the hot plate!
For awesome Chinese it's hard to go past the Tugun Jets Chinese - its not a glamorous restaurant my any means but the food is spectacular!
 Special fried rice
 Pork and cashew
 Chinese style beef
And the most AMAZING salt and pepper chilli squid - my absolute favourite

We've also found a new yum cha opposite the emporium on ann st - its just out of china town so the parking is easy and the food is delicious!  These scallop and prawn dumplings are my favourite....

Octopus
Prawn dumplings

Satay squid seafood dim sim

My favourite takeaway close to home is House of Fu, Clayfield, this seafood noodle soup is lovely!

Eating out is not the same as eating at home ... here there is always someone to watch you especially if there is a roast

Hasn't the weather been beautiful - countdown to Summer - hurrah!

I hope that you have a great holiday today ...!
